Floorball Extreme is a new company dedicated to promoting the exciting game of floorball,
the fastest growing sport in the USA. What is floorball? It is a safe, fast paced team sport providing fun and
excitement for everyone. It is played on foot with a lightweight stick and a whiffle ball, the rules are easy to
learn and there is no physical contact. It's a great game for kids or co-ed play.
Hockey Players Wanted! - Any hockey player that wants to get ready for the upcoming season or
someone who just loves to play hockey our floorball classes are what you are looking for. Floorball is fun, fast,
safe and inexpensive, requiring only a stick, sneakers, shorts and a t-shirt to play. The class can be easily
picked up by beginners; yet, it holds great potential for development of stick and ball handling, passing and
shooting skills for hockey players/teams as off-ice training.

Feschuk: Floorball gives hockey players creative edge
Posted on Feb. 15th, 2012 by Seymour Mitchell
The TSN broadcast called it a lacrosse-style goal, but the interesting backstory went like this: Granlund had never picked up a
lacrosse stick. The inspiration for his goal, it turned out, was floorball, a version of floor hockey, popular in
Finland and a handful of other European countries, in which the sticks have lacrosse-like pockets that allow players
to pick up the ball to unfurl an array of airborne tricks.

Tomah Open Tournament April 14th, 2012
Posted on Jan. 11th, 2012 by Seymour Mitchell
April 14th, 2012 in Tomah Wisconsin we will yet again try to play a 3 on 3 Floorball tourney with goalies - The Tomah Open.
We plan right now to open up the tourney to 3 conferences; Advanced, Intermediate and Recreational.
If we have interest from schools we will open up conferences for both Junior high as well as High school teams and perhaps even an elementary session.
Floorball was introduced to the WHPE this fall and schools across WI is interested - so we will invite towards emails collected during this conference - we will have a limited set of sticks to borrow too for players without their own sticks.
